Not only am I a newborn and family photographer, I'm also a dog photographer. Well, meet Mufasa! This dog has an amazing story. He was found outside an apartment building extremely sick and alone. Rescued Pets Are Wonderful (RPAW) stepped in and brought him back to life. Mu, as so many people call him, was in such poor health his Veterinarian Krista said he received intensive care for some time. While trying to recover, the director of RPAW Liz, made sure he got everything he needed. Love, total Veterinarian care, more love, and more care. Liz has an amazing ability to write and convey the needs of each animal in her care and because of this people from all over donated to Mu's care, as well as watched his progress. I was so honored to take photos of Mu as he was still healing but almost ready for adoption. And then Liz had an event to celebrate him and bring everyone together that watched Mu while supporting him. His other foster mom, Ashley, was also great for Mu. Helping him transition to his forever home, while caring for his health needs. Thank you RPAW and everyone that helped this adorable dude!
Mufasa was adopted by an amazing couple! He has a a beautiful sister Taya. I've taken a screen shot from their page to share here - see below.
**Warning - there are some photos below of when Mu was found so they are graphic. But then there's happy, good photos following.
